On 22 May 2026, at our Cikarang Plant, PT Tata Metal Lestari once again demonstrated the competitiveness of Indonesia's domestic industry by exporting its coated steel products to the United States, Poland, and countries across the European Union. The send-off, held on the factory floor where the products themselves are made, brought together the people, partners, and institutions that have helped carry Indonesian steel from a single plant in West Java to customers on three continents. It was a moment of celebration, but also of quiet confidence — a sign that years of investment in quality and capability are now opening doors in some of the world's most competitive and discerning markets.

Flagship products in this export shipment

The export shipment featured three of our flagship coated steel products, each engineered for durability, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting performance across a wide range of construction and industrial applications:

• NEXALUME – Aluminium-Zinc Coated Steel (BJLAS), combining the strength of aluminium and zinc for excellent corrosion resistance and a long service life even in harsh environments.
• NEXIUM – Zinc Coated Steel (BJLS), offering reliable, long-lasting protection and consistent quality for a wide range of applications.
• NEXCOLOUR – Color Coated Steel, delivering both enhanced protection and an attractive, color-finished surface that combines performance with design flexibility.
